We have an immediate opening for a Product Operations Manager to work with our global Product Management team. This is a key strategic role within the Product Management group for Verizon Connect working closely with our Director of Product Management and the Senior Leadership team for Product.

We are looking for aProduct professional who has a deep understanding of the Product Management discipline and can own the management of the operational aspects of the product organization including but not limited to:

• Product Hoshin/KPI definition and ongoing management
• Working with Product leaders to drive rollout of best practices for all teams to ensure a consistent employee experience & drive ongoing improvements.
• Working with business teams to ensure we have reporting and business metrics the Product team require to take the right decisions to move the business forward.
• Driving employee engagement & recognition programs across Product Management.
• General management of the product roadmap process and timelines.
• Managing and organizing necessary group meetings and workshops, continuing education and enabling the product team with the right tools
• Develop an in-depth understanding of the priorities of the product teams you support and lead your team in providing data-driven recommendations
• Be Customer Obsessed – Always starts with the customer first and works back. Actively build customer relationships, understand their business goals and pain points. Be the customers’ voice.
• Data Driven - Anchors decisions for product/product area based on data. Partners with UX Researchers & Analytics teams to ensure we have the data and research required to make data informed decisions.
• Entrepreneurial spirit – We’re looking for a strategic thinker who sets a product vision and strategy around the needs of our customers and growing business.
• Strategic mindset - Responsible for clearly understanding our Business strategy and how to translate that into a successful strategy for your product/product area. Leverage an opportunity evaluation methodology, whereby priorities can be set based on business and customer value opportunities

Where you'll be working…

This position is a hybrid role with a defined work location that includes work from home and as-needed office days near any valid US VBG Verizon Administrative Office, with preference towardsBoston, MA;Additional locations for fully-remote work may be considered.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/Commerce, Computer Science, orfour or more years of relevant work experience.
• Six or more years of relevant work experience.
• Sixor more yearsof experience in Product Management or related fields.
• Five or more years of experience working closely with Software Engineering and UX/ Design teams.
• Three or more years working directly with the customer on customer facing products.
• Experience working on SaaS and Mobile products.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

• Experience with global companies with distributed teams and an international environment.
• Experience in presenting results and working with stakeholders both internal and external.
• Problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, develop solutions and craft high quality executive presentations
• Strong executive presence and engagement skills.
• Highly collaborative style with strong influencing skills.
• Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly demands; sense of urgency
