What you’ll be doing...

  • Actively monitor application / infrastructure performance and maintain system up time.
  • Detect and diagnose first level identified issues and assisting with their resolution.
  • Communicate with application / infrastructure owners with respect to maintenance, monitoring and escalation of issues.
  • Be vigilant in all the monitoring platforms like email, slack etc., and respond immediately.
  • Collect and document information about application / infrastructure performance, problems and failures.
  • Develop and suggest needed improvements based on data collected.
  • Make improvements to existing support documentation and assist in the development of internal as well as training materials.
  • Address all alerts and handle all incidents as per strict SLA guidelines.
  • Communicate with a sense of urgency and collaborate with geographically diverse teams across multiple time zones.
  • Provide efficient support and participate in the calls from first level service support team perspective to restore the services in the shortest possible time.

Where you'll be working...


In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • One or more years of relevant work experience.
  • One year experience in a platform/application support or operations role.
  • Experience with Network Technologies (Routers, Switches, Firewalls).
  • Experience with basic testing practices.
  • Experience with Windows or Linux operating systems.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • AWS Certified, Cisco Certified, Microsoft Certified.
  • Knowledge of tracking systems such as, JIRA.
  • Experience with Application monitoring tools:Solarwinds, AppDynamics and NewRelic.
  • Scripting and automation skills, especially PowerShell / python scripting
  • Experience with large enterprise scale solutions.
  • Holistic approach to the application support & development and strong owner attitude of the functionality provided to the customers.
