What you’ll be doing...

As the immigration & Onboarding Specialist you provide operational support for our new hires and immigration support for our EMEA based employees. This function allows the businesses to operate customer focused, efficiently, cost-effectively and in compliance with regulatory and industry practices. You will be part of the International HR services team and report to the Manager HR SSC EMEA. You will have a close collaboration with all HR departments.
Responsibilities include:
  • Take ownership of the background investigations, in close collaboration with our external provider to ensure compliancy.
  • Take ownership of the system driven onboarding process for new employees including gathering paperwork and insuring Data Quality.
  • Verify authenticity of paperwork and supporting documents to ensure compliance with right to work regulations.
  • Support the New Hires and Hiring Managers on onboarding related queries.
  • Organize, streamline and oversee the onboarding process for new employees to ensure a great onboarding experience.
  • Proactively monitor the entire onboarding process to detect any gaps to improve the onboarding processes and experience.
  • Oversees immigration programs and assists foreign nationals with immigration procedures, in close collaboration with our external provider to ensure compliancy.
  • Assisting and follow up on all paperwork required, both from immigration and Visa applications, to ensure all are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Take ownership of relocations services when applicable, in close collaboration with our external provider to ensure compliancy.
  • Provides clear and on time communication to ensure other departments/ stakeholders are updated as needed.
  • Ensure reporting on BI Checks, Global Mobility and New Hire KPI is available and correct.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor degree in HR or Business Administration, or related workexperience.
  • HR experience.
  • Fluency in English.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Knowledge of labor law and immigration laws.
  • HR experience, preferable in the field of immigration/global mobility within an international environment.
  • Experience in the latest word processing, presentation and data analysis software (e.g. Microsoft Suite), PeopleSoft/Workday experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask ina fluid, fast-paced environment with a matrix organization.
  • Administration skills combined with a hand on mentality.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Any extra language skill is more than welcomed
