What you’ll be doing...

The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Consultant will be responsible for supporting the building and maintenance of the Verizon Innovative Learning HQ learning portal (www.verizon.com/learning) with a goal of reaching 10M youth by 2030. The role will manage the moving parts of the platform project internally within Verizon and externally with our partners.

Overall responsibilities include:

  • Manage master project plan, develop timelines and schedules, identify resources and best practices, develop processes and procedures to successfully manage and track the project to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Organize meetings with all relevant parties and effectively communicate project expectations and status to team members and stakeholders; Summarize meetings and action items in order to coordinate project task completion.
  • Manage communication and coordination between our development agency, internal Verizon teams and external content partners on portal build and content and systems integration.
  • Create and update an executive summary of portal and content build progress.
  • Make strategic decisions based on portal data analysis and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Verizon Innovative Learning team to determine how content partnerships will meet goals of the program and enhance K-12 education.
  • Use a deep understanding of website development and project management to work with internal and external partners on large-scale portal implementation.
  • Collaborate with other members of the Verizon Innovative Learning team, internal and external tech teams, and content partners to manage portal rollout in K-12 classrooms and determine key metrics.
  • Analyze results and determine actions to course correct before website is impacted.
  • Perform user focus groups to assess portal impact and progress towards student reach; report portal analytics with partners and Verizon Innovative Learning team.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience leading technology initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Master’s degree.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master Certification.
  • Understanding of Software Development methodologies (understanding of Agile preferred) and Product Development.
  • Experience in website development.
  • Understanding of technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality.
