What you’ll be doing...

In the role of Sr. Mgr-Platform, Infra and Tooling you will be responsible for leading a team that delivers the Compliance Center of Excellence (CCoE) Multi Cloud Hybrid Platform which will create and protect over 5.5B dollar of Public Sector revenue. This includes building the strategy, crafting development requirements and executing with the vision with the technical, product and operational teams. The platform will serve as the reference architecture for all Verizon compliance needs but specifically for products, network and third party solutions that require high cybersecurity requirements.

You will build and develop the team to optimize the platform build and adherence to the NIST guidelines, best practices and the compliance strategy and long term recommendations. The team will also be responsible for maintaining continuous ATO with CISO, introducing new tools, driving platform requirements and investment, environment convergence, automation and operational upskilling with the network and customer operations teams.
You will be expected to:

  • Define the cloud-service provide (CSP) agnostic approach that is the ability to leverage different CSPs and owned infrastructure to meet a common ATO goal for products and solutions.
  • Build the strategy and craft requirements for a “Golden Boundary” linking critical functions (e.g., OSS, BSS, Product,) together with Interconnect Service Agreements managed by the CCoE Governance Council.
  • Meet compliance and ATO requirements for systems in that boundary.
  • Establish ZeroTrust Principals (e.g. Policy Enforcement Points) to interoperate/ integrate with other boundaries.
  • Create shared compliant infrastructure that multiple products can leverage and reduce costs.
  • Consolidate the operational support into a common process, tools, and support model and train/upskill operational groups on new approach.
  • Replace current security operation tools with a platform that can scale more efficiently all products and infrastructure into a common SecOps model.
  • Partner with CISO to implement a new GRC and Asset/Software Tracking application to automate continuous authorization and monitoring process.

Where you’ll be working:

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of cloud technology and cybersecurity standards such as Kubernetes, AWS Govcloud, Azure Government, OCI, Ansible, Nessus, Terraform, RedHat OpenShift, NIST, FedRAMP, TIC3.0, ZeroTrust Frameworks.
  • Willingness to travel as needed (25% or less).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A degree.
  • Certifications such as AWS Cert for Security/Solutions Architect/Cloud Practioner,ISACA:CSX-P.
  • Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform.
