What you’ll be doing...

Looking for a Manager, Visual Merchandising with strong expertise that will design, champion, and lead holistic merchandising strategies, and oversee their execution across the enterprise. They are responsible for ensuring a premium environment that enhances the customer experience and promotes brand consistency. Prior career experience with a large national multi-channel retailer, expertise in managing multiple external partners, and experience managing internal stakeholders is required.

  • Owns visual merchandising strategies for all of the company’s retail stores and pop-ups.
  • Champions a premium brand and customer experience.
  • Works directly with senior leaders to ensure that in-store merchandising maximizes sales lift opportunities.
  • Partners with stakeholders and analyzes research/industry trends to drive new retail formats, product displays, and product placement strategies.
  • Owns and oversees new visual merchandising standards and best practices.
  • Works hand-in-hand with Creative Directors to develop better creative work.
  • Owns and manages project budgets to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Leads fast-paced timelines and monitors deadlines.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Six or more years of corporate retail work and project management experience.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field.
  • Visual merchandising, buying or interior design background.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suites.
  • Additional knowledge of computer drafting and 3D modeling.
  • Works independently “owning” projects from inception to completion.
  • Self-starter that learns and adapts quickly to new systems and processes.
  • Strong communication and design presentation skills.
  • Strong design aesthetic.
  • Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to drive results.
  • Willingness to travel between Basking Ridge, NJ and New York, NY.
