What you’ll be doing...

As a Supply Chain Planning Manager in IT Corporate Systems group, this individual will be a functional lead for Supply Chain Planning area in strategic and transformation initiatives such as 1Planning. 1Planning is a multi-year program to consolidate various Planning platforms into a single Planning platform on top of SAP IBP and SAP CAR to drive efficiencies. The primary function of this role is intended to take a broad-based view of business processes across core functional domain for both US and global business entities. The primary responsibility will be to leverage his/her deep understanding of the core processes of Supply Chain Planning. This individual will deliver best in class out of box capabilities through planning, analysis, design and leading development teams to realize the business processes. These will be enterprise-wide business processes centered on SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) platform and spanning across other SAP and non-SAP systems. This role will interface with business partners, system integration leads, functional leads, and development lead in order to fulfill the stated primary goal.

  • Working closely with external teams to define release content and ensure growth of the platform to meet competitive demands.
  • Leading and mentoring engineering web and application programming interface teams through software platform releases, ensuring products are on spec, architecturally sound, and delivered on time.
  • Supporting customers with major platform issues and coordinating triage efforts to solve them.
  • Documenting and maintaining architectural guidance to ensure performance and scalability of the platform.
  • Adhering to industry standards and best practices and understanding emerging technologies and trends to continuously improve the systems, application, infrastructure, and processes.
  • Requirement gathering preparation, Configuration, Prepare Test Scenarios and Test Scripts.
  • Preparing Functional Specifications, cutover strategies and issue resolution post Go Live.
  • Creating and tracking SAP OSS notes and working with SAP to resolve issues.
  • Preparing reports and training materials, training personnel, and delivering presentations.
  • Implementing SAP Best Practices Business Processes, Global templates, and configuration of these Best Practices.
  • Identifying as-is processes and to-be processes and Map Business Processes in SAP IBP

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience of leading and managing high performance teams for Supply Chain Planning implementations
  • Experience working on at least two full life cycle implementation projects in SAP IBP.
  • Experience with SAP IBP and integration to SAP S4 and/or SCM in at least 3 projects.
  • Experience in implementation, from the development of Business Blueprint, As-Is Study, To-Be Analysis, GAP Analysis, Post Implementation support.
  • Experience in preparation of functional specification design and interact with technical team for different RICEFW (reports, interfaces, conversion, enhancements, forms, workflows objects).
  • Knowledge inSupply Chain Planning process knowledge:Demand planning, S&OP,inventory planning, Supply & Response Planning, Replenishment Planning
  • Knowledge in Retail Replenishment Planning Process via SAP Customer Activity Repository (CAR)
  • Experience handling Issues/support functions.
  • Experience conducting user requirements gathering, understanding GAPS and documentation designs.

Even better if you have:

  • Master's degree.
  • Knowledge of the Agile methodology or a related project waterfall methodology.
  • Experience interating with Business teams
  • Knowledge of SAP APO
  • Knowledge of SAP CPI-DS and SAP HANA SDI will be a added advantage
  • SAP certification would be desirable however not necessary
