What you’ll be doing...

As a SAP Security consultant in the IT Corporate Systems group, you will be part of the centralized SAP Security team leading strategic and transformation initiatives such as 1ERP, 1Planning, wSAP, 1Sourcing. You will be responsible for the overall design and approach to SAP security across all of our SAP systems, including development, BAU, handover and support (full life cycle of project).

  • Performing current state assessments of a SAP infrastructure, developing strategies and roadmaps for improvement, and advising in further securing the SAP configuration by combining your in-depth IT infrastructure understanding with SAP’s application specific considerations.
  • Performing access control and design account security for information resources within the SAP landscape that conforms to company process controls.
  • Advising on information security opportunities that can be utilized or adapted to meet business area objectives in leveraging SAP-related systems.
  • Developing, testing, and implementing security plans, awareness communications, products and control techniques for SAP application initiatives and operational support.
  • Providing leadership in the evaluation, development, and implementation of security standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environment (e.g., firm-wide, distributed, client server systems, and e-applications) with a focus on the SAP environments.
  • Providing technical support and training to the Information Security staff and assisting Management in the development of the overall project plans and timetables.
  • Investigating and recommending appropriate corrective actions for information security incidents.
  • Analyzing SAP governance, risk, and compliance across all business areas, with particular emphasis on access control.
  • Resolving business issues within defined SLAs.
  • Improving the current functionality and business process.
  • Delivering successful SAP security and authorizations project work, changes, fixes, SAP environment patches, and periodic SAP environment refreshes across all functional areas and environments.
  • Maintaining and developing the existing SAP security roles and authorizations framework ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Identifying the risks and designing the SOD (Segregation of Duties) Matrix.

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Four or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in defining security architecture and authorizations.
  • Knowledge of user and role authorizations adapting user and role concepts.
  • Knowledge of legal issues and their resolution.
  • Knowledge of SAP Cloud and On-Prem solution capabilities (e.g., SAP BTP, SAP IBP, SAP Ariba, SAP C4S).
  • Knowledge of GRC technology (SAP GRC Access Controls (AC), Process Controls (PC) and Risk Management (RM) or in SAP Identity Management (IDM) to support identity and access management (e.g., Single Sign ON (SSO), user life cycle management).
  • Knowledge of SAP Security and SAP GRC Access Controls (e.g., ARA, ARM, EAM, BRM).

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • A Master's degree.
  • SAP GRC/IDM certification.
  • Understanding of GRC troubleshooting, Workflow customization, rule set, and related concepts or areas.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP security-related tables and critical authorizations.
