What you’ll be doing...

The ERP organization within the Corporate Systems Group (CSG) at Verizon has a need for an experienced SAP functional solution consultant. The primary function of this role is intended to take a broad-based view of business processes across the Order to Cash functional domain for both domestic US and global business entities. This includes business functions contained in the SAP Hybris suite of applications – Subscription Order Management, Convergent Charging, Hybris Billing for domestic and Intl - Convergent Invoicing, FICA, Revenue Recognition, C4S and integration with upstream CRM applications such as SFDC, Credit & Collections and Accounts Receivable. Also included in this scope will be the integration of the Hybris suite with Procurement and Accounting functions on the S/4HANA platform.

  • Interface with business partners, system integration leads, functional leads, and development leads in order to fulfill the stated primary goal.
  • Requirements Gathering preparation, Configuration, Prepare Test Scenarios and Test Scripts.
  • Preparing Functional Specifications, cutover strategies and issue resolution post Go Live.
  • Analyzing business specification documents, developing Test Plans, Test Strategy, Test Scope and defining Test Cases and Automating Test Scripts.
  • Preparing reports and training materials, training personnel, and delivering presentations.
  • Implementing SAP Best Practices Business Processes, Global templates, and configuration of these Best Practices.Identifying as-is processes and to-be processes and Map Business Processes in SAP S/4 Hana and SAP Cloud Systems

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Full-life cycle project experience in implementing SAP C4S (Cloud for Service).
  • Knowledge of master data, processes, and transactions across SAP Hybris Billing – CC, CI, SOM, FICA, RAR and AR for US and International businesses.

Even better if you have:

  • A Master's degree.
  • Good understanding of the Offer to Cash Scenario i.e. integration with SAP CC, SAP CRM, other SAP systems and external systems.
  • Technical competence in C4S UI concepts and Integration capabilities.
  • Ability to capture and replicate mapping data from SAP S/4 system to SAP C4S system for integration along with Non SAP systems integration.
  • Ability to perform detailed analysis of complex business process requirementsand design, customize, configure and test C4S accordingly.
  • Possess understanding of different API's and SOAP/Rest Web services, Batch Jobs, IDOCS, XML Messages.
  • Knowledge of IT Service Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, HPQC) & Agile Tools like - Jira
  • Detailed knowledge of credit and collections functions including usage of 3rd party applications such as Cforia.
  • Experience in middleware technologies used to integrate cloud based Hybris, S/4HANA and 3rd party CRM, and C&C applications.
